When The Last Choice Sheet Mask Review

I received this sheet mask in a Beauty Beyond Borders subscription box. This was a k-beauty subscription service that has since stopped. It was a great source of Korean skin masks. I have tried another When mask in the past and really liked it.

WHEN The Last Choice is a premium hydrating sheet mask made from coconut using advanced bio-cellulose technology. Hyaluronic Acid and Saccharide Isomerate have been added to the serum to maximize the delivery of moisture and to provide long lasting hydration. WHEN Bio Craft Serum is formulated with gentle ingredients, plant extracts and enriched with Ginseng Extracts to keep skin looking healthy and glowing. With WHEN masks you can have your favorite Spa treatment any day, anytime.

INGREDIENTS – Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Citrus Grandis Seed Extract, Bambusa Textilis Stem Extract, Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract, Saccharide Isomerate, Polyacrylate-13, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate 20, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Gentiana Lutea Root Extract, Archilea Millefolium Extract, Artemisia Vulgaris Extract, Colloidal Platinum, Ginsenosides, Fragrance, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil.

20170325_220303.jpgThe mask fit fairly well other than being too big around my mouth. The eye holes are nicely sized and fit my face well. You can mold this mask to fit your face. There is enough on the ends to smooth over your jawline.

It came sandwiched between a stiff piece of paper and a thinner peel-off piece of paper on the back. As usual, I had a difficult time getting the paper peeled off and the mask on my face straight. They are hard to work with because they have the consistency of wet jelly!

This mask had a light citrus scent.  The mask was saturated with essence that was not too thin. It absorbed quickly into my skin and left it feeling soft. This was a thinner mask than some of the other bio-cellulose masks I have tried.

I went to bed thinking that this mask had not delivered what I expected. I left it on for around 30 minutes. After massaging the leftover essence into my skin I applied my normal nighttime products. I use a serum, a moisturizer, eye cream, and a facial oil. My face did not feel as soft as I thought it would after removing it. Even the next morning it didn’t feel as soft as I expected. But it did look plumper and brighter and you have to love those results.

I would not pay $7 for a single one of these. A sheet mask would have to do amazing things to my skin to justify paying $7 for a single sheet. Yeah, I am kind of cheap when it comes to masks.

I guess my final verdict is that it did good things to my face. It still didn’t seem enough for $7 a sheet. If I could find them for $2 a sheet I might buy more of these.

Have you tried this mask? How did it work for you? Have you tried other When masks? Did you like them? Do you have any mask recommendations for me?
