SOO AE Nature Vitamin Collagen Mask

This SOO AE sheet mask came in either a Target or Walmart beauty box. This was my 2nd mask by SOO AE. I have also tried  SOO AE Snail Brightening + Moisture Mask before using this Nature Vitamin Collagen mask.

Formulated with a special blend of vitamins, provide an instant boost to the skin brightening its overall tone while supplying it with plethora of nutrients.

Collagen is a vital structural component in the skin; the plump and smooth appearance of a youthful complexion is a result of healthy collagen levels. It is an important skin element and as skin care ingredient moisturizes and protects skin by preventing the break-down of skin cells that lead to loss of elasticity and sagging. In addition, each mask is also formulated with Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Witch Hazel, Natto Gum, Wheat Amino Acids, which promote hydration and supply nourishment to the skin.

Designed to fit comfortably on the contours of the face, this collagen-infused sheet-mask is a simple, effective and convenient solution to instantly replenish skin with hydration and slow aging for beautiful and supple skin. Soo Ae Nature Vitamin Collagen Essence Mask:

Indications:  Dryness; Hyper pigmentation and Uneven Texture

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Natto Gum, Wheat Amino Acids, Niacinamide, Amylodextrin, Calcium Pantothenate, Maltodextrin, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Pyridoxine Hcl, Silica, Betaine, Allantoin, Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Pca, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Tocopheryl Acetate, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Disodium Edta, Methylparaben, Fragrance.

Instructions: After properly cleansing face, apply a toner or softener. Remove sheet mask from packaging and apply on to face in line with the holes for the eyes and mouth. Using fingers, ensure firm contact of mask to skin by smoothing out air pockets. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes and then gently remove. Take the remaining essence in the packaging on to hands and pat onto skin. No additional care is needed after using the mask treatment except for morning use, where using a SPF and sun product is highly recommended to protect skin from harmful uv rays.

I apply sheet masks are cleansing, toning, applying tretinoin, and applying any serums I am currently using. This gives my serums a chance to absorb while being pressed into my skin. However, I forgot to put my serums on under this mask. I typically wait about 2 hours after using tretinoin to allow it time to sink into my skin.

This mask had a very fresh scent and was soaked in serum. The mask itself was very generously sized and fit my face well. There was plenty of extra serum left to smooth over my chin and jawline. I always use my silicone mask cover to hold sheet masks in place and to keep the serum pressed against my skin.

Although the instructions say to leave it on 15 minutes, I left it on for 30 minutes. I like to give it ample time to sink into my skin. When I removed the mask there was still a ton of serum on my face. I massaged it into my face but to took a long time to fully absorb.

I applied my nighttime serum over it and it felt super sticky. Even after applying my moisturizer it still felt sticky. I don’t know if it might have worked better if I had used my serum under the mask like I normally do.

This mask was just ok for me. It was hydrating but so sticky! I much prefer the snail mask that I used by this brand. I don’t know that I would repurchase this one. For basic hydration it was good but so are a dozen other inexpensive sheet masks that don’t feel so sticky.

Have you tried this mask? Did you have better results? What are your favorite sheet mask brands?
