innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Blackberry

This mask is from the Monster Sheet Mask Haul I did a few months back. I have seen a lot about innisfree online and this is the first mask I have tried from the brand. It is also the only blackberry mask I have seen so I had to try this one! I used this mask as part of #MaskaDayinMay.

A mask made with freshly squeezed blackberry to make the skin firm and supple while reducing wrinkles. A nourishing triple layer mask.

When and how to use: In the evening, after cleansing and before your final moisturizing step, tear open the mask packet, remove the sheet mask, unfold and fit over face. The mask has several slits to assist in customizing fit. Leave on for the time specified on the label (or a little bit longer), then remove. Pat or massage in excess product and finish with your emollient or occlusive moisturizing cream.

Ingredients list: Water, glycerin, butylene glycol, cetyl ethyl hexanoate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, citrus paradisi (grapefruit) fruit extract, rubus fruticosus (blackberry) juice, polyglyceryl-3 methyl glucose distearate, glyceryl stearate, dimethicone, PEG-100 stearate, carbomer, xanthan gum, Ethylhexyl glycerin, adenosine, potassium hydroxide, sodium hyaluronate, citrus unshiu peel extract, orchid extract, camellia sinensis leaf extract, camellia japonica leaf extract, opuntia coccinellifera fruit extract, disodium EDTA, phenoxyethanol, fragrance.

I applied It’s Real Squeeze Mask Blackberry after cleansing and toning my face. I put on my tretinoin and waited 2 hours to allow it to absorb fully. Then I put on my serums so that they could absorb while I was wearing the mask. Sheet masks are the last step before moisturizer in my p.m. routine.

As soon as I opened the packet I smelled a faint scent of blackberry. I wasn’t expecting it to really smell like blackberries but it did. It was a nice thickness and it is described as a triple layer mask. It was saturated in serum and easy to open up. The serum was a white cream serum rather than the clear liquid serum that is more common in sheet masks.

It was a generously sized mask that fit my face well. I liked that the strip over my lip covered the entire area. Usually, they are just thin little strips that are just barely there at all. It also covered the bridge of my nose nicely. I have some wrinkles there so I was happy to have them get a good dose of serum. Once I had the mask situated on my face I covered it with my silicone mask cover. This helps push the serum into the skin. I also pat the cover to push it even more into my skin. I could smell a faint sweet berry scent while the mask was on. I left it on for 45 minutes to give it plenty of time to absorb into my skin.

When I removed the mask there was a lot of serum still on my face. I massaged this all in and it felt very nourishing. It took a while to get it all absorbed and it felt a bit tacky even then. I followed this with my nighttime moisturizer.

I was satisfied with this mask. My skin did look and feel hydrated and there was a noticeable plumping. I also believe that my skin looked a bit firmer after using this mask. I really enjoyed the scent too. It was mild and not overpowering at all. I have some more varieties in this line and am looking forward to seeing how they work for me.

Have you tried this mask? Have you tried any other innisfree masks? What did you think of them? What masks do you like?
