Boxycharm October 2016

My favorite subscription box is easily Boxycharm. It is $20 per month so it’s more expensive than the others that I subscribe to but it is always worth it. This is another really good month and I already love a few of my items. To see what you can expect in a Boxycharm box see hereherehere, and here. In this month’s box I received:

Cargo Beachblush – Four harmonious shades “stripes” blend together on the skin for perfectly balanced cheek color with a radiant warmth.  Start with your favorite large fluffy brush. Swirl the brush over all four color “stripes” to create one harmonious hue. Apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks and blend back along your cheekbones toward your ears. Dust the remaining product over your temples, nose, chin and along your jaw line. For a soft monochromatic glow, use the individual “stripes” as eye shadow. I love this! It is a beautiful color and it lasts all day. It is fairly neutral so it works for most skin tones. This is a full-sized product that sells for $30.

Iby Beauty Threes Company Trio Eye Shadow – These three “must have shades” are perfect for fast and easy eye shadow contouring. Use the trio to brighten and define your eyes and make them appear dramatically bigger. This is another keeper from this month’s box! These shades make a beautiful fall eye. The gold is just stunning. The shades are buttery and blendable. They lasted all day even without using a primer. I will use this little palette often and it will be perfect for travel. This is another full size product that retails for $19.

Briogeo Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant –  A weightless blow-dry finishing and heal protectant cream formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. Naturally fortified with rosehip, argan, and coconut oils, it protects against heat damage up to 425°F, smooths hair and tames frizz, and enhances shine and softness.  This, too, is a full sized product that sells for $24. It smells good but I can’t see that it works better than anything else. I don’t style my hair often so I am not the best to judge a product like this.

Temptu Shimmer Bronzer – S/B Bronzers have a silicone-based formula and are oil free, non-comedogenic. Bronze and contour the complexion with this beautiful shimmer finish. Dab a few drops of the product with clean fingers or a synthetic bronzer brush and apply where the sun naturally hits the face-cheekbones, forehead, bridge of the nose and chin. Yet another full size products that sells for $29. I have never used a liquid bronzer so I’m was not sure about this one. I applied it with a stipple brush and it looks pretty good. I still prefer powder bronzers but I will use thus from time to time.

Luxie Beauty Eye Blender Brush Pack – We collaborated with Luxie to bring you this fabulous Eye Blender 3-piece set! These cruelty free brushes are extremely soft and gentle enough for all skin types. An antibacterial coating helps keep the brushes clean and fresh. Blending your favorite shadows will be a breeze.  Tapered tips are designed to give your eyeshadow a seamless blend while maintaining a flawless finish. Brush #205: With the tip of the brush, blend your best eyeshadow for a softer or more defined edge Brush #229: Blend eyeshadow colors along your crease to create deep set eyes. Brush #237: Blend your favorite eyeshadow along the crease and outer v.  Obviously these are full size and sell for $36. I have other Luxie brushes and i love them. I am always happy to get brushes in my boxes to add to my collection. These are nice, soft brushes and I am thrilled to get them.

This was another great month for Boxycharm. Is there any question as to why this is my favorite subscription box? It is well worth the $21 a month since you get so many full-size products. I always look forward to seeing my Boxycharm in the mail.
